In this project, we designed a holistic spatial experience that connects the reception area, wine bar, snack bar, hotel rooms, restaurant, a smaller private dining room, children’s playroom, and administrative offices. The design’s central theme is defined by soft, organic lines, a rich palette of textures, and the use of natural materials that subtly link the interior with nature – as the hotel is set in the very heart of a picturesque landscape.
Special attention was given to the ground floor, which accommodates the reception, wine bar, and snack bar – open yet functionally distinct spaces. The main challenge was to visually harmonize two characteristically different areas while clearly differentiating them according to their purpose. This was achieved through a unified design approach, a shared counter, smooth transitions between color palettes, varied furniture, and appropriate lighting, creating a coherent yet dynamic spatial experience.
One of the guiding ideas behind the design was the hotel’s rich gastronomic and wine offering, which includes its own wine cellar. This motif was extended throughout the entire interior – from the wine selection on the ground floor to the wine-tasting room upstairs, symbolically connected by the staircase conceived as a vinotheque. In this way, a cohesive narrative was created, linking different parts of the hotel into a distinctive thematic concept.
In the hotel rooms, a gentle, calming color palette prevails. Soft lines and natural materials such as linen, bouclé, and coarse woven wool rugs bring warmth and a sense of homeliness to the space. Stone, wood, and wall coverings with natural motifs further connect the interior with its surroundings, subtly expressing respect for local tradition and nature.
