About This Project

The apartment of a young family in one of the residential blocks in Šiška had a relatively large floor plan but due to the existing layout of the rooms and outdated furniture didn’t function well – at a first glance it looked a bit old and cramped. Clients wanted a complete renovation of the apartment that would reflect the spirit of a modern time – Nordic design as a starting point for designing an interior and relatively neutral colours of built-in furniture but with some more sophistication and elegance which could represent city’s ambience.

We demolished the wall which separated the kitchen with dining room from the living room – this way we connected all the living spaces into a visually open whole. We also made some changes in existing floor plan, especially by designing a different layout of the furniture so the space could be used to its maximum potential.

While designing the interior we used relatively neutral color schemes such as different shades of grey, white and beige. We added small wooden details that give the space some warmth, and chrome accessories which create the interior a bit more classy and sophisticated.
